    JD 212 Grease Fittings

Briefly looked at the front wheels, had a grease gun at the ready.

Didn't look long but, didn't see zerk fittings. Didn't see any broken off either.

The poor Deere sat out too long, rain, rain, rain. Tarped but the tarp had numerous rips. Previous owner
had purchased a Cubbie. Deere was forgotten.

Greased the spindles. While doing so, water oozed out. The neglected Deere loves attention.

Now onto the wheel hubs. No grease fittings?

No grease fitting for the axle pivot either?

Nope. It’s a common upgrade, but honestly hand grease every 2000 hours or 40 years and your good to go.

The JD parts illustration shows the front wheels having a grease fitting up to S/N 190000.
