    212 Manuals

Ran into the previous owner that I picked up my "new" 212, my 1st Deere last week.

He found and gave me the original owners and the parts manuals!

I don't care for the way they are written but tickled pink to have them.

Guess it's a learning curve for my 71+ noggin.

In my opinion, after having several different brands and seeing some of their manuals, the older John Deere manuals are cut above the rest. More detail, better diagrams and pictures, and better descriptions. Are thy perfect, no, but I've seen a lot worse. The newer manuals, on the other hand, from Deere aren't as good in my opinion.

Absolutely correct, guess old age and my 1st Deere, a bit lost.
The manual calls for grease fittings on the front wheel hubs, don't exist. Guess only on other models, not the 212 I have.

Talk confused, flew to Lincoln, NE a stop in Kansas City. You would think Kansas City, Kansas.
    Wrong. Kansas City, Missouri!

Yes, Kansas City is in Missouri, right on the border of Missouri and Kansas.
