    Hydraulic rebuild on a 316 ( Help Needed )

So I have the 316 with the Kohler engine. First where the hell do I put transmission fluid in ? is the transmission fluid the same system as the hydraulic system? Where is the best place do purchase parts for the hydraulics? I have Two levers with 4 ports on the front only for the power blade that came with the tractor.

any and all help is greatly appreciated

J, I can''t tell you "where" to add fluid, but the hydraulic & hydro are the same...engine drives a pump, some pressure goes to hyd system & some goes to a hyd drive motor to move tractor. Your hyd system also powers another cylinder under the tractor for a mower deck (or other mid mount attachment) and is operated by outer lever.

Check operation of levers. Outer lever should spring back to center when released. Inner lever should remain forward with slight additional pressure...this is float position). It should return to center when pulled back & released.
    Hope this helps, Bob

There is a plug and a sight tube on the back of the tractor , pour into the plug until half full on the tube . It is a slow process .
