    Help, 316 carburetor needed

Team - my 1978 316 is giving me fits so I hauled it into thru JD dealership. It kept flooding out - the choke plate kept vibrating to the choke position and flooding it. JD said "it needs a new carburetor but they cannot get one, said I have to find one myself then they would install it". They gave me a number as a reference AM134547 any suggestions or where can I get one?

Not sure what your carb looks like, but found this for an insane price of $349 (and thats just for the carb kit, not the whole carb)
    https://www.green-parts-direct.com/j...Kit/PD/4213157

But this came up for $19 on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/ROP-Shop-Carb.../dp/B072BXQFF6

Here is another for $25 with some actual reviews.

    Hope that helps ya.

I suspect I need to call the JD boys and see if a kit will do it - that is crazy money....

I would definitely try one of those from Amazon before I spent $349 just for the kit. Just an opinion.

Called JD and they said a kit will not do the trick, that the butterfly shaft and/or the holes in the carb for that shaft are worn.
