    WTB: Locust Fence Posts

    Looking for about 50 4-5" diameter x 8ft locust fence posts in Eastern Pa.

    In the Mohawk Valley Region of New York State we generally track down someone who is part of the Amish community to obtain locust posts. I usually start by stopping by an Amish owned lumber yard.. they usually can point you where you need to go.

    Thanks, thats a good idea I hadn't considered. BTW, last weekend I was at TSC and wandered out into the corral area to look at the box scrapers, and what did I stumble on? Racks of what appeared to be 6" locust posts. There was no one around to ask if that's what they were, so I intended to do so when I went back inside, but then I saw something shiny......
