I haven't read of any failures. By chance do you run the MCS on the machine with failures?

I don’t have any pictures, but I’ve seen a couple tweel failures at my local Deere dealer.
Each failure was the same, numerous spokes had collapsed or broke.
I suspect impact damage from crawling over curbs could be the cause.

Isn't that one of the features they promoted the Tweels on being able to do better?

    Pretty darn expensive flat tire.

That is why I am curious on if they were running a MCS. I can see overloading them causing these failures unless there was a manufacture flaw. If I recall they are rated for 750# each, they were not recommended for use with the MCS. I can see where if I pick up a hopper of grass clippings that I could blow past that 750# limit on a wheel. That said, some people have reported seeing them on machines with a MCS. Maybe the dealer missed the fine print. I also think they are something like $500-600 a wheel.

If I mowed commercially where who knows what is hiding in the grass I would see where it is worth it. More so for the guys that run a machine 2-3 years and trade in staying in warranty. For them a machine that is down is costing them money. For me if a machine is down my grass gets a little longer until I fix it. There are a few people here that seem to like them for their personally owned machine but knowing I will run it for many years I would rather go traditional tire. Not that I wear out a lot of tires. That said I picked up a roofing nail in the front tire on my X585 the other day. The joys of construction projects around the house.

Kind of wonder about tweels, spokes are some form of plastic, constant flexing of plastic usually ain't a good thing.

You mean like the "live hinges" used on cheap plastic tool cases?

Usually some good duct tape will fix those right up, not too sure that will work on tweels.

True... but what's a good fix when the darned "live hinge" latches break? (asking for a friend) :-)
