Hi all, prepping for the winter and looking at buying a salt spreader (rotary type, can't afford the 3-4k+ drop spreader). Main reason is that my driveway is about 400' black top, with 3 significant curves and very steep all the way. So slippery = dangerous, especially for those stupid...
We finally had a day here in Ohio with temps above 10 degrees, so I got the 318 on the pond and blew the snow off for some ice skating this coming weekend.
The ice is very smooth, so traction was minimal, but it was enough for this project.
I recently had to use my Front Loader Bucket but it had filled up with water and then froze solid.
I was looking for a way in 0 degree weather to get it out of there when I remembered that I had bought
a propane burner for a different purpose back in the fall, the kind they use to heat up...
