Would someone with a 1-series equipped with fairly new R4 bias ply tires mind helping me out?

I am interested in measuring how much tread bar wear I have on my front and rear tires. For that I need to know how high the bars on new tires sit above the carcass of the tires.

Mine with 1,200 hours measure 1/2 inch rear tire and 3/8 inch front tire, measuring the height of the tread bars at the midline of the tires.

If there are no answers before I get home, I can check. Maybe 5 hours from now.

I got 5/8" rear and 1/2" front. Couldn't get my tape measure exactly in the center of the tire due to thr tread blocks but that is the centermost point that I could get the end of the tape square against the tire.

Wow! That means I have had 1/8 inch of tread wear per tire over 6 years and 1200 hours (about 200 hrs on asphalt, the rest grass and dirt).

Now that I don't drive on asphalt any more, I estimate I have roughly another 18 years and and 3,600 more hours until thinking about replacements, barring dry rot or non-fixable punctures.

I wonder what new tires will cost me when I'm 95?
