1025r deck height?

904 Views 9 Replies 6 Participants Last post by  scooterman
Can someone help me out? I have a 2018 1025r and my 60d deck at full height is inches out of level (bottom of deck) (again, at full height). This is after getting it level for my cutting height.

can someone measure their deck on each side and tell me if it’s just me or not?

There is a sticky on deck leveling at the top of the SCUT forum but the level is measured at the tip of the blades.

Also, at full height the deck may not ever level out, at least my 2016 didn't so I set the level at 4" cut height.

Yup, I’ve gone through that and the blade tips are level at cutting height. I suspect that the lift mechanism is bent and cannot lift the left side of the deck to full transport height.
Is the deck or linkage hitting anything on the way to full up?
So, long answer to this. No, but in the past, I have seen the turnbuckles rub on the frame.

On my 60D deck, the discharge side is an inch lower than the adjusting knob side when in the fully up and locked position. Mower decks are like testicles; one side always hangs lower. 😁

Uhhh.... yeah. What Clyde said. It's normal to be an inch or so different at fully raised. Even at different mowing heights the blades can be at different heights than from where it was set at. In other words, if you set the blades at 2.5" and it's perfect, don't expect it to be "level" at say, 4".
The low side looks like a full height and the side with the 6” looks too high. Mine only raises 4” or so

I appreciate it all. I just wanted to make sure that I didn’t have a big problem!
