Does anyone know if there is an adjustment on the forward and reverse pedals to be more responsive? Can they be tighten and loosened to either get a response out of the tractor immediately when you push the pedal or if you can have a little slack in it.
Thanks everyone.
I'm trying to make mine more responsive if I can.

Are you saying there is a delay? When I press even a little it begins to move. For example of you move half an inch it does not move? Or just delayed?

Check on the "Linkage Damper", it can cause exactly that problem. The damper looks like a shock absorber with a rubber boot connected in the pedal linkage. They AIN'T cheap, but they are easy to change out. It "damps" the action of the linkages to ease strain on the transmission when changing speeds or directions with the pedals.

Maybe someone can tell exactly how to test one. I had one go on my GX inside a year and had it done by the dealer so I can't say I've had a defective one in my hands to fool with.

James,
Im just looking for it to grab right away when I touch the pedal. It just feels a little soft to me.

Harold,
I will look into what you said. Thanks!
