Tossing out a Hail Mary pass here and see what develops. I want to buy a front Heavy Hitch for my 1026R. The Suitcase weights seem to command a premium no matter where you look. Anyway, are the small suitcase weights the only way to go or is there other JD suitcase weights that will work just fine? I'm now contemplating welding up some sort of expanding/hanging arraignment to hang on the Heavy Hitch to hold a few Double Notch wheel weights. Any thoughts or opinions? I'm kinda/Sorta stumped. :munch:

I use 70 lb JD suite case weights on the front of my 4120 & 1026R. I have the front Heavy Hitch weight bracket for the 1026R.
When I do not need the weights on the front, I hang them on the rear weight box for added rear weight.
You can use any brand suite case weights that will hang on the weight brackets.

The 45ers can be found at Home Depot for around 50 bucks. They even have free shipping sometimes.

I should also add that they are John Deere brand.
