1026r mm problem

So I just purchased my 1026r and did a unhook then hook up and made a huge mistake! Apparently i did not lower the mm arm down before latching on the mower and tilted the tractors pto up so it doesnt line up with the mower. Anyone run across this problem.

Glad to have you here Big Mike!

I'm not following you 100%. You unhooked your mower (with auto-connect right?) and re-hooked and the PTO didn't line up? Did you lift the deck by the mower gearbox and not the lift arms? I'm not sure that's possible as they are on the same mechanism.

Can you reattach your mower correctly?

I have the auto-connect feature on my 60D and there is a bearing with a female PTO shaft on the rear mower lift arms under the tractor. It is free to move sideways between the arms and to tilt up. There is an adjustment bolt for leveling it but it doesn't secure the bearing in position. I have tilted the bearing assembly up very easily by hand, it can be brought back down to level by hand as well. Was that what you were referring to?

Ironic, as I had same thing happend to me yesterday. I went to attach deck and put knob on install, lowered my arms down. When i looked pto was way lower than gearbox on the deck. The pitch of the pro shaft to line up is way off as well, pointed down. Dont know what could have changed? Everything else lined up excetp pto was way to low.
Can you post a picture of this? Did you raise the mower wheels all the way?

No deck is sitting on the ground, gauge wheels are totally unlatched. Took it to the dealer to have them look at it. Will let u know what they find. Not my week, i was taking loader off b4 I brought it to dealer and unlatched springs and started walking loader stand down just as it was extended and ready for loader to lift off where it attaches to tractor and my pin snapped where it holds loader stand on loader and cracked the cast on top part of where the pins go in? Not sure what would have caused that much pressure to snap pins and casting? I have had it b4 where on side will come off and i have had to roll tractor ahead or back a bit to get the other side to come off. I was on level ground nothing different than the 15 other times i have taken it off.
Holy Cow! Keep us posted on this!:good2:
Sounds like you had a bad day. Sorry to hear about your troubles. Hopefully your dealer will get you all set in no time!:thumbup1gif: Keep us posted on this.:hi:
Was thinking last night about what i could have done to make the cast break and break pins on loader stand bracket. I wonder if when i was extending stand down if one of the springs would have fell back into lock position so that loader could not lift off where it mounts to tractor and pressure then snapped pins and casting? I didnt notice if spring was latched when it happend I was kind of in shock and was frazzled and didnt really investigate right away. I did remount the loader to tractor right away after it happend, then tried rationalize the situation.
here is pic of were casting broke.
Is that a D120 or H120 loader? Having a hard time understanding wheat happened.:unknown:
h120 loader, the pins that broke are the ones that hold loader stand to the loader and the casting that broke was on the top side of where the pins slips in. Basicly the pins that u take out to remove loader stand.
