That where they bolt it to the loader upright for transport.

I am looking for some type of chain attachment with a reinforced mounting plate that would line up perfectly with this hole configuration.

Everything Deere had in mind was already done prior to you ever seeing that bucket.

Those holes are to reduce bucket weight and increase lift capacity. :LOL:

Sometimes holes like that are used to align parts to a fixture for further machining.. Resulting in interchangeable parts and accurate parts to one and another in left, right side parts...

Sometimes...but not in this case, it's been explained what they where for.
