I see MANY similarities to an Ariens (bucket, chassis, chute) I wonder if they made it under contract?

They were made under contract but I forget by whom. I want to say it was MTD.
I have a 1032 in very good, all original condition with a cast iron gear box. I'd sell it but nobody would give me a fair price on it so I'll keep it on a shelf.
