Not sure -maybe new models:unknown: Once i took the deck off and i do not remember the second belt:unknown::unknown::unknownRIVE BELT??

 

Maybe you don't remember the mower deck belt since the drive belt from the engine is the only one that comes off when the deck is removed.

Once you get the deck off the tractor, if you need, you can remove the mower deck belt.

They definitely have 3 belts.
1. Engine to transmission. Makes the wheels go round.
2. PTO pulley to deck drive spindle. Drives the deck.
3. Drive spindle to each of the 3 mower blades. Drives the blades.

 

i call the dealer and you are right:good2::greentractorride: 2 belts for deck

 

The belts are #1&#21 in the above diagram.

I was wrong and i was right The x540 has a 48 inch deck / not a 54 inch deck For 48 deck is only one belt-not 2 belts:good2:

 

Not too big of a deal since we all know what a X540 is but they didn't start making them until 2006.
