Can’t get rear SCV’s reconnected. Too much pressure behind the female side of connection. Any ideas on how to relieve the pressure.

Welcome to GTT
With engine not running move scv control handle back & forth to relieve pressure. If implement has been sitting in sunlight one might need to put shop towel over end of male coupling & push ball or poppet valve down on a block of wood to relieve pressure in hose.

Thanks for your reply. I have tried that to no avail. It’s like the ball bearing ring won’t slip over the ridge of the male connector.

Most likely the quick coupler has gone bad, easy to replace. I think its somewhere around $40. Had this happen to my 2014 5065E. This is somewhat common on these tractors.

Do you replace the whole coupler or just the core? Thanks for replying! This is my first Deere!
