As part of the updated ANSI/ROHVA standard, new protection measures have been put in place to limit the speed of the vehicle if the driver seat belt is not buckled.* This seat belt interlock has now been integrated into the MY ’18 Gators.

Models Affected:

Speed is limited ~8-12 MPH

XUV590 E/M and S4

XUV835 E/M/R

RSX860 E/M

*

Audible Alarm ~15 MPH

XUV855 E/M and S4

XUV865 E/M/R

We just did a PDI on one. It’s doesn’t let you go above 10mph untill that seatbelt is buckled. 590m will do 50 mph pretty easy tho!!

If you need to have seat belt latched then they should offer seat belt extensions for us larger body people. When I had my zturn I tried to get an extension for it and was told Deere doesn't offer any. Its not right they are picking on us Fatboys!!!
