Can someone verify whether or not you can engage the FWD while in motion with the Power Reverser transmission. See excerpt from the owners manual page 50-13 highlighted in Yellow (Attached PDF). It says two different things! I will also follow up with the dealer.
Just wanted to know if anyone here knew anything about this.

I read that to mean do not engage fwd while under LOAD.........but it's OK while moving.....I think its to avoid partial or incomplete gear engagement due to being under a load......in motion yes..under LOAD no....

It takes a gentle touch when driving straight. In a turn, the gear train is under load. (outside wheels have to turn faster, but the inside wheels are slower) Don't force the lever in or out. Vary the speed a bit until the control shifts.

Technically they want you to be sitting still to engage/disengage the MFWD. This sometime won't work like it should and will require some movement. I just kind of easy off the clutch slowly enough to get it to start moving forward while at the same time pulling or pushing on the lever and it will engage/disengage.

If you have the FEL attached all you have to do is to lift the front wheel off the ground with the loader and it should engage/disengage with no issue. The reason you have a hard time getting it in or out of the MFWD is because of the weight being placed on the front axle. Lifting the wheels off the ground relieves that pressure.
