The parking brake on my 2025R will not release, though the lever moves just enough for the light to go off. The brake pedal does not come up and remains engaged. The lever will fully click in the "on" position and the light comes back on so that still seems to function normally. The parking brake lock lever seemed sticky before releasing a few times before it finally decided to stop working. The tractor has only 49 total hours. My issue seems similar to what the OP posted in this thread: 2025r parking brake.
The service guy at my dealer said he had never encountered this problem but for north of $220 they can pick it up and possibly get it looked at on August 8th, then tell me if what's wrong is covered under warranty.
Has anyone else solved this problem? Of note, I am not terribly mechanically inclined but can probably deal with something simple. However, the MMM is attached and I can't drive off of it due to the obstinate parking brake. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
