Not alot of information out there that is clear , even at the parts desk. Lol . I currently have R3 tires and want to get the R3 radials . Are the rims the same or do I need to get new rims as well?

If you are going with the Galaxy radials Deere offers you will need all four rims. They are a unique size (220/70R12 and 280/70R16) and for that reason I don't recommend them.

I recommend that you go with the Carlisle Versa Turfs in 23x8.50-12 front and 12-16.5 rear sizes. Your current front wheels will work in this scenario but you will have to buy two 16.5" rear rims LVA20896. This way you have the common sizes and the latest in tire design.

For all you new 2025R buyers out there, I will repost my earlier recommendation - order your tractor with the R4s and then swap them for Versa Turfs when you get the tractor. Take-off R4s in these sizes are used on many tractors and an easy sell used. This way you can get the Versa Turfs for a few hundred dollars.

Here are the Deere part numbers, sizes and list prices for the front and rear wheel and tire kits, for the galaxy turf radials for the 2025R gen 2 tractors . I think I paid a little over a 1000 for mine. I should probably go ahead and sell my R4 wheels and tires. I doubt I ever put them back on.
Love the radial hybrid turfs.

BLV10744 280/70R16 $854.36
BLV10745 220/55R12 $378.00
