Thanks for all the help on this forum.

I currently have a quote in hand for a 2032r. Looking to update from my 1025r. The dealer is quoting a 62D MMM. This confuses me as online John Deere specifically mentions a 60D or 72D MMM.

Is the 62D the current mower for the 2032r?

Is that what he said or what's written on paper? My dealer gets confused with all the different models of things all the time.
What I could find says this " JOHN DEERE 62D BELLY MOWER DECK. FITS 2520 AND 2720 COMPACT UTILITY TRACTORS "
Must be an older model

The quote says "0195LV - 62 in. OnRamp Mid-Mount SideDischarge Mower"

I questioned him about it, as Deere says plainly on their website that it's a 60D, and he said no, the 60D is only for the 2025 and lower, and the 62D is for the 2032 to 2038. But from the research I've seen the 62D is an older model of mower.

I just received a quote from another dealer and it has the 60D mower on it, like I expected. So not sure what this dealer is trying to sell me.

I found the same thing you found:

0195LV 62D In. OnRamp Mid-Mount Side Discharge Mower (MY16 and older 2032R, 2520, and 2720 Tractors)

The Gen 1 2032R is the same machine as the 2720. But the Gen 2 2032R came out in 2017 and replaced that, You have a confused salesman.

I don't see where it says that. The only thing I see that says "2025R only" is the Load N' Go option for the 60D deck. That isn't the deck itself.

If you go to the 2032R page on Deere's site the very first description line says "Compatible with the 60D and 72D AutoConnect™ drive-over mower decks"

Unless you have to fit through a gate or something, you should consider the 72D. It's easier to trim around obstacles as it sticks out farther, and you can get the load n go brackets for it

Sounds as though you need to have the serial number of your tractor written down and IN HAND... next time you go to this dealer.. Then IF you do end up ordering the MMM there, take the tractor in and don't pay for the mower until it is turn key installed..

Sounds like they have an unsold deck in the back somewhere trying to get sold...

If you read on the page for the 2025 and then 2032 -2038
both mention LOAD and GO on the 60D" deck ONLY
Then look at the 2032-38 page and then page 8 the deck is drive over 7 Iron Commercial grade .
I taking this is the 62 and 72" deck. for the 2032-38

The 2025 is the 60d with load and go deck

The 62D is not an option on the 2032R and 2038R, they have a 60D option and a 72D option. Additionally, the 60D available for these is not the same model available for the 2025R. For the 2032R and 2038R, the load n go is only available for the 72D.

Edited to add - I may be incorrect about the model 60D being different, but the load n go is not available for the 2032R and 2038R on the 60D, while it is available only for the 60D for the 2025R.

Correct ,, that is my take . the OP is the one with the issue.
he was quoted a 62" for the 2032-38 and that is my take .

The 2025 is the only uses the the 60" with Load and go
Dug a little deeper , I see no listing for a 62" deck being offered for either of the 3 tractors.
2025 had either a 54" or 60"
and the 2032 or 38 a 60" guessing a different possibly heavier gauge than the one listed for the 2025 and a 72"

For what it's worth, I asked the other dealer I got a price from and he said if it's a current 2032R series tractor than it should be a 60D or a 72D. So I'm thinking my salesperson is either confused or trying to move an old unit. I'm guessing he's just confused. :)

I just received a quote from my local dealer for a 2038R and it says 60D MMM.
