There was no issue with dismounting the backhoe. That was slick. It just not possible to put the 3 point arms on without removing the tires to allow enough room. It's either remove the tires or remove the sub frame. But that is the only way to get the 3pt hitch arms on. And of course I had the tires loaded, so lots of weight there to play with.
I talked to the dealer, he said it was a new setup for the backhoe. And I can't use the 3pt arms while the hoe is mounted, they have to be removed. The hoe is mounted closer to the tractor than the old way he said. They won't work with the bar across the bottom of the hoe. He was just leaving work, but will work on my problem. Bad thing is he's 100 miles each way! Sigh!
Seems like a design flaw for this new setup? I just made the 200 mile trip today, not looking forward to more trips to the dealer.
I think the dealer is wrong but if that is the case it’s completely unacceptable. I take the Backhoe on and off sometimes a couple times per week and it only takes literally 1 minute
No way they added a step to that and made it take longer. You are the second person I have talked to that had their backhoe sent out without the three point arms on. I think the other person said that it mounted up normally afterwards? Not 100% on that
I do have the wheel spacers but that’s only 2 inches per side and it seemed like I had a good bit of clearance on mine because it was not close to touching the wheel. Maybe the 2” wheel spacers make the difference.
The pictures you shared did not show it up against the wheel So I was assuming it wasn’t. It also showed the U-bolt still being on the other side so I didn’t know you had taken both of them off
Another difference is that mine does not have those bushings
In the picture you did send, the arm would go in if the bushing was not there. Will that bushing not slide out towards the wheel side. If the bushing can be moved outword you would have the clearance you need
