I know this subject has probably been beat to death but I need an expert answer. I have a 1979 JD 2040 . It has a Dunham Lehr loader that came with it and I am trying to correctly plumb it. The loader valve is open center(which is going to be replaced) and I want to make sure what hydraulics my tractor has. Tractor is a 1979 JD 2040 serial number 309996 with 3 cylinder diesel. The pump on the front has the following numbers on it. On the face- R39318 on the lower right side- R60365, R39316 and S/D. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks, Charlie

Thanks Tx. With the old open center Cross valve on the loader I got a little confused. Guess that is why the loader wasn't on the tractor! Thanks again, Charlie
