My 2040 has 14.9x28 tires on it. Tractor data says it should have 13.6x28. Im gonna have to put rims and tires on it so Id like to do it as cheaply as possible. Will going to 13.6s hurt anything.
13.6x28 OD is 51.6" while 14.9x28 OD is 53.8" so you'll lose a little ground speed & gain a small amount of torque. other than that you should be fine.
