I recently had a problem with the voltage regulator having a meltdown and the main 40am fuse blowing. I replaced both and the tractor fired right up. Now, I have a constant battery indicator light (even with key turned off). I'm assuming that means there is something shorted, and I'm leaning towards the K3 or K5 safety relays, but I'm not sure if that makes sense. Also, the battery will not stay charged either... The indicator light being on even with the key off has me a little confused??
Don't get the V4 diode confused with the V2 diode.
The small black diode is the V2, which is usually the one that goes bad. There's 3 of them.
The V4 diode is blue and white.
I watched a you tube video, and guy showed a video of the small black diode and said that was the V4 diode so, that's what I ordered.
When they come in to my surprise, the diodes were blue and white, which are cheap.
The parts man said the black ones are the V2, which are $25.00 a piece.
