You will be happier with a 54" unit, but it's over $600, so I guess that it's the 48" unit for you. You really want to be as wide or wider than your rear tires.

I agree with MtViewRanch - wider than the tires is best.

Why extreme duty? The reason I am asking is if your gonna work the snot out of it, a 54" may be more than you have power/traction for in a heavy duty application.

I would think that a standard duty 54" box blade would hold up pretty good behind a 2320 (unless you beat the crap out of it).

If you have a heavy duty job, then you might be best off with the 48".

i have a 2320, 48 inch box blade and 60 inch landscape rake. the smaller box blade does require me to make more passes than if it was a 60 inch. however, it does bog the tractor down a bit when the box is full so i think a 60 inch might be too much for the 2320.

the 60 inch landscape rake is perfect.

you can usually find decent used box blades around if you aren't in a hurry and keep an eye on craigslist.
