What are most of you guys putting in after changing your hydraulic oil and filter?

HY-Gard J20C
or the Low Viscosity HY-Gard J20D ?

Thanks

I used the regular Hy-Gard, It probably gets colder where you are so the Low-Vis might be better for you.

Low-Vis

I am using the Low-Vis here in Wisconsin, but probably don't need to. My machines sit in a heated building.

That's kind of what I was thinking, my machine always stays in a heated garage so I'm thinking regular HY-Gard.

Thanks Guys

Klash2,

This is what TM2074 recommends for my 2210. I do not have a 2520 TM but I am sure it is similar.

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! Transaxle is filled with
John Deere HY-Gard (J20C) transmission oil at the
factory. DO NOT mix oils

Do not use type “F” automatic transmission fluid.
Use only Hy-Gard (J20C) or Low Viscosity Hy-Gard (J20D)
transmission oil.

John Deere Hy-Gard transmission oil is specially
formulated to provide maximum protection against
mechanical wear, corrosion, and foaming.

The following John Deere oil is PREFERRED:
• Hy-Gard J20C Oil

The following oil is also recommended if above preferred oil
is not available:
• Low Viscosity Hy-Gard J20D Oil

IMPORTANT: Avoid damage! If operating
temperatures are below -18C.

Low-Viscosity Hy-Gard here in New York, I don't think the dealer here even stocks the regular Hy-Gard.

My dealer pushed me onto the Low Viscosity as well. He said everything they service in this area that's what they put in because it gives the broader range of operation especially for our climate in up here in Canada.
