Just on johndeere.com and was checking out new promos and came across new promo for the 2520 starting today April 1st through May 31 $2500 off w/ 2 implements. I just called my dealer to let him know about this. He's checking now to see what he can do for me. My new 2520 Tractors due to be delivered Monday 4/4 :yahoo:

My dealer took good care of me.. I'm happy !! :thumbup1gif: I'm on schedule for Monday delivery ...
Hey Folks.

Ken, you're like some kind of angel or something. Thanks to you letting me know about this thread, I inquired and I already received word back that the discount will be applied to my 2520. Since the verbal order was just placed 2 days before the end of the month, it should be. (However, it was still a little tough to sleep last night.)

RaisedonDeere, thanks a boatload for posting this thread. I might have seen this promotion shortly anyway since we are still picking a lawn tractor but who knows. You da man.

No Problem Ensoll, Anytime I can give back to my new friends on these tractor websites. Kennyd has helped me as well. I'm just paying it forward so to speak..:good2:
WOW! Great timing for you guys. You buy green and save boat load of money to boot. Life does not get any better than this. Well, now I suppose you can wish for early deliveries.
It's confirmed. The new incentive has been applied to my purchase in full. I can sleep now. My poor dealer has put up with a lot from me on this over the last few weeks. I'm glad it's finally done for me and for him. Now it's just the wait. Thankfully I'm too busy to be able to suffer too much from it.

Well all I can say is I've planned weeks for this day. My plan was to take photos as the truck pulled up with my 2520 on the trailer today. Lets just say I blew it.. I got so excited when it was here I forgot all about grabbing the camera  Now all thats left is to take a few photos of her sitting in the driveway once it stops raining so hard..

Ok Here she is.. :thumbup1gif:

Thanks Kennyd, Yea thats what I was told when I ordered it. But i'm not going to be playing in the mud. Like you said shes to purtee to get muddy. Also I would think you would get more tire contact/larger footprint in the snow when snowblowing and mowing.. That's just my theory and I'm stickin to it..:thumbup1gif:

Oh by the way the JD green paint is drying on my hooks as we speak. I'll be slapping them on this week and I'll shoot you a photo..

Thanks again..
Bummed...

I took delivery of my 2520 on March 18th. Ouch! Should I even bother contacting my dealer/Deere or just walk around with this 'deere' in the headlights look for the next month?:unknown:

I've only waited 7 years to buy a new John Deere. Can't tell you how many hours I am spent on the website configuring the perfect machine for me. That $1000 off promo seemed really good. That leaves a pretty bad taste in your mouth.
I can imagine you would be upset missing out on $1500 bucks. All i can say is if you have a very good relationship with your dealer he might do something for you as far as "X" % off future purchases of implements or service but your deal is done and papers were signed theres no obligation for the dealer to do anything else. I myself could be in your same boat if in a month JD says "Hey now i'm going to give $3500 off". It would be to late for me but the ones who procrastinate win. Sucks for me, Great for the next guy. I guess thats life and I would have to think positive and say Man I love my 2520 anyway.. :empathy3:
I tried avoiding the forums/website for a while as I thought this might happen. Oh well. I'll still have a smile on my face while driving it...
That's the spirit . It doesn't help to cry over spilt milk. Just enjoy what you have and take care of that 2520 and it will work hard for you no doubt. :)

So how do you like your iMatch? I didn't get that option, but kinda wish I had. Might have to look into it. I have a rear mount snow blower, and I am not sure how that would integrate.

Also, how fast can you mow with your MMM? We have a zero turn that does the mowing chores, but down the road I may get a deck on the tractor and was curious what I could expect on the 2520.
