I have a 63 3010 Gas Row Crop. It has a generic looking gas cap on it now. I bought a red rubber cap cover R27183 for it but the cover is way too big? If I buy a AT20911 gas cap will it be bigger to fit the cover?

This is what I have now...

Thanks Jim,

I'll have to do some measuring when ever I can get home.

Ok the gas cap on it now measures nearly 2 and 7/8" across the top. the inside of the new red cover is over 3" ID. The red cover is also the exact same size as the black radiator cap cover? The fuel cap would need to be 3.25 inches OD to fit snugly inside the red cap. So I have no idea what this red cap is for, it may be miss boxed bad luck for me trying to buy OE parts.

I haven't been able to find a 3.24" Fuel Cap for a New Gen Deere anywhere?
