3025E Loader

Hi GT

I’m a first time owner of a brand new 3025E. When I park the loader in an up position it gradually drops to the ground over a couple of days.

Is this normal? Do I have a leak? Should it be parked with the loader down?

My Deere dealer is closed this weekend so I thought I’d ask the group.

thanks 👍🏼

Definitely normal and I can't think of a single good reason to leave the loader up when the tractor is not in use.

I can think of several reasons NOT to though - the most important being that it would only take bumping into a lever to bring it down in a hurry, possibly onto something (or someone) you really don't want to get squished.

Yeah it's normal. If it were dropping in minutes that would not be normal.
Be aware of your body parts around a lifted loader. I was unloading garden soil by hand with loader at waist height when my 5 yr old got in the seat and pushed the joystick dropping the load on my feet. I should've used the scv lock but I thought I was working alone outside.......

Thank you. I was trying to park it with the loader up to fit it into a parking area.
