Hey everybody! I am in the market for a King Kutter box blade. Really only looking at the King Kutter because of the price, and others I have talked to said they were happy with the purchase. They seem to be built well enough. Anyway I have searched the internet high and low on whether to go with a 5' or 6' model. My dealer recommends a 5 footer. He claims a 6' blade with the rippers down will stop my tractor in its tracks. I DO have loader tires which should help. Just asking for some more advice before pulling the trigger. I would rather have a 6' model. Makes it a lot easier getting the blade close to an edge. The 5' blade will just barely cover the tracks (maybe). I would hate to buy a 6 foot blade just to find my tractor can't handle it. I am a professional landscaper and it will mostly be used to grade loose topsoil and the occasional breaking up soil with rippers before leveling it out. Thanks for the help.
