I know... another darn Regen thread but I really did try to find my answer first. My soot level is up to 76 percent and it is not going into regen. It just keeps going up and up. I ran this machine for 5 hours straight on Sunday and I'm still at 76 percent. With the busy season approaching I'm getting scared it will end up in limp mode and at the dealer for week which I can't afford. So I tried doing a parked regen, I have done one before mainly just because it was a new feature and I wanted to try it. I let the tractor fast idle for a period of time to warm the engine and made sure all other parameters were correct. Pressed and held the button, it started flashing, pressed and held for 3 sec. It idled up and just like it should and all was well. This time I did everything the same, I let it fast idle for a period of time did all the other stuff then held the button for 5 sec...........and no flashing. I tried it again....no flashing, then again and again.....nothing. So I thought maybe it is not at 140 degrees, that is the only part I can't be sure of because it isn't digital. Problem is I couldn't get it any warmer. So I put a piece of card board in front of the radiator and kept trying at different intervals as the temperature increased. And still, hold the button.....and the light goes out and doesn't blink. So I crank the throttle up until the temp gauge is about an 1/8" from red. I idle it down to slow idle press and hold the button.......and nothing!:banghead: By this time I gave up, I pulled the card board and let it idle for a short time to cool down then shut it down. I am at a loss, why won't this darn thing regen!?
Any help would be appreciated. I talked to the sales guys at the International Farm Machinery Show in Louisville and they had no idea. One guy took my name and number well see what happens with that.
