When is the last time you replaced the fuel filter?
345 starts but dies
Recently started having a problem with my 345, equipped with FD590V. The engine cranks, starts, and runs for a little bit. Once I get to the backyard it starts to surge and dies. I can restart it and run it choked but it eventually dies after that as well. Will keep restarting and quitting. I checked the fuel line from the tank to the filter and no issues there. The filter is visibly full with gas. Going to check at the fuel pump and carb now. Kinda going crazy trying to figure out what the issue is. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

That’s what I was thinking as well but from what I’ve read the FD611V had the tdm, the FD590V doesn’t have it. Looked on the machine and I only see the igniterIf the upper end of the fuel system is good, maybe try a time delay module? They're usually completely dead by the time I get to them. AM128906
I replaced the fuel line from the tank to the fuel pump, tank grommet, and filter last year. Going to throw a new filter on.
Here’s an update, I did move to clean the carb. As I tried to remove the float pin, the float pin post broke off. Bought a cheap Chinese carb while waiting for a oem carb. Chinese carb actually works well, tractor runs fine now. Mowed the entire property with no issue so far.That is correct.
Have you done any work on the carb? As part of your troubleshooting, I'd pull the float bowl and clean it if needed.
