35G vs 50G

Thinking of getting a 35G or 50G with a cab, and start a form of smaller contract excavating. Does anyone have hands-on experience with both of these machines? Wondering which you would choose and why?

They both have zero tail swing, right? The 50G has a bigger frame, deeper maximum depth, and higher power rating; so I'm leaning towards that as a "catch-all".

I'm really not sure what type of digging would go on, perhaps footers, landscapes, driveways, maybe trenches for conduit and plumbing, or even pool digging.

The cabs looks super small, especially for anyone who isn't a short skinny guy -- but maybe I'm wrong.

I have a 35G, never been on a 50. I'm sure its better, just wasnt in my budget.

Use mine alot for tearing out trees, digging, and moving things that dont want to move.

Got a LEA multi ripper bucket for it, I'm amazed what gets done.

I'd rather have a 50 for sure, but this 35G gets me by pretty good. Got a cab and thumb. Taken out some pretty decent trees with it. 24 inch+ when I'm lucky.
