A buddy of mine is looking to purchase a small, but powerful tractor to use for his camp. He needs it to maintain a driveway, mow 10 acres and til up 5 acres of small food plots. He wants something that can fit in the woods, so as small as possible with the most power.

Can a 3720 do as much work as a 4320 when it comes to things that are not ground engaging?

well, no the 3720 wont do as much as the 4320 but im sure the 3720 would live up to the tasks though, with a larger tiller it would till the 5 acres, and it would without a doubt mow the 10 acres, and it would for sure maintain the driveway
BUT!!!
the 4320 would do it all better and faster

Agree, 99% of the time bigger will be better.

I have had both. (2) 3720's and a 4520. The 4520 will do 4 times the work of a 3720 and most of it is torque. You cannot even compare the 4cyl to the 3 cyl.

I know the old tractors so I assumed that the top end 3x20 would correlate with the bottom end 4x20? Not true in power or ability?
