got this bucket about a month ago and finally had time to get over to my friends fabrcation shop to modify it. bucket was heavy when i bought it about 520 pounds, ended up cutting 120 pounds out of it. should work well for relocating snow and opening some of my driveways up.

Welcome to DT. That bucket should hold lots of mulch too, even with the holes in it to lighten it.

I think you're right!
That is a VERY cool looking bucket!:thumbup1gif:
Wow, Haven't ever seen one of those before.

You'll have to keep us up to date on how well it works for you. Any thoughts on using a wax or nonstick coatings?
That is a great accessory for your FEL. Thanks for the pics and besides the snow, I think the use of it for mulch is excellent.:thumbup1gif:
That is very cool. Of course, I greatly appreciate the lightening holes, especially the one's on the back and along the top edge so you can see what's going on better out in front.

As for mulch, wow, that bucket has to be around 1 yd capacity. Our shrubs wouldn't stand a chance:laugh:
Looks very aerodynamic too. Yep mo' snow and mo' mulch with that bucket.:good2:
I sprayed it with fluid film, stuff we use for salters. Havent had a chance to use it this year as the season has sucked. Friend wants to barrow it for landscape season
Nice job.

What did you guys do all the cutting with? Looks like a lot of work.

Plasma with a template?
