I changed the load shaft and seals on my 4430 the end of July 2020. Haven’t used the 3 point since. Today 9/29/20 while pulling a grain drill the seal on the left side started pouring. Why??
Teflon seal was damaged when the shaft was installed.
Buff the end of the shaft prior to sliding it through the seals. Apply grease to the shaft before installing.
The Teflon seal (A) have to be folded to install into the bushing grove.
Once installed into grove, and before the Yoke is lifted and set into place, lube the end of the shaft and slide it into the seal to force it back into it's proper configuration.
Then, lift the Yoke and install the shaft carefully.
Did you inspect L/D shaft for wear, lubricate shaft with hyd oil before installation & remove any side to side motion of drawbar support with correct shim washers?
