Have a great blower works awesome here in Mn.....but having an issue with the chute cable. When I turn the chute with crank to the right no issue, but when I go to turn to the left the cable doesn’t move or get out the way of the auger to turn the chute. It binds up. There is a little clamp deal on top of the left side of the blower and I can’t figure out how to set it up to allow free movement of the cable. Is the cable suppose to be all slacked like in the picture or should it be “fixed”to the control rod? Gets iced up, binds, gets caught. Anybody have similar issues? Suggestions? TIA

Yes, I had this exact same problem. I noticed it while assembling the blower. This might not be the perfect solution but I didn't want to drill another hole in the blower. It's just a small piece of 1/2" pvc that I could slip over the cable and zip tied in place. Seems to work and not bind when the chute is all the way to the right or left.
