main question:
Does anyone know what the John Deere Servicegard Driver Adapter - JDG1702 is?
Is it like a pipe coupler with a place to turn a wrench? Is that all it is?

Problem,
noticed the coolant wasn't returning to the fill tank/reservoir
I just did an oil change, so the oil is clean, and I'm not sure if the dipstick is abnormal

coolant in oil:
svcman pg 48, says to check the oil cooler
can anyone confirm that all that holds this thing in place is the nipple ??
and what is the "packing" the manual is refer to ??

If anyone has a story about this part, it would be great.
