Anybody Upgrade from a X400 thru X700 series to a 1 series and Keep the 47inch Blower?
I know Deere Makes Hydraulic Hose extensions for the Chute angle cylinder But can't see to find the Part Number In JD Parts Nor Can My dealer. I Know I could Make them But if Deere already has Pre-made ones I would rather Get them:bigthumb:

I believe this is it. It is called the Front Drive and Reinforcement Kit. It is tractor specific. You may need this entire kit to change the blower over to a 1-series.

Can you share with me what exact parts are needed to use your snow blower on a 1 series? I have a X585, my dealer just quoted me $1,800.00 for a new quick hitch, drive shaft, and upstop kit. He says that is everything I need to mount it on my 1025R. Seems like more than I need and defiantly more than I want to spend.

My 47" blower on my 1025r has 2 extension hoses, one for each of the lines. There's a JD part number tag on them. Both are #AM 134005. They're about 25" long, nut to nut, not including hyd fitting at the end.

Hope this helps... Good Luck.

Depending on the age of the blower the extension kit may not work as they changed the fittings. That's what I ran into with the 47" blower from my 445. The dealer ended up making me hoses.

You'll definitely require the Quick Hitch and the driveshaft. More than likely the upstop kit, as well. I'm speculating the upstop kit includes the intermediate driveshaft that remains with the snowblower when it is removed.

I had a pair of 455s with 46" single stage snow throwers that I actually prefer to a 47 or 54 two stage snow blower. I investigated converting them to utilize with the 1025Rs. By the time I added up everything it was going take and the resale value of the 46 Snow Throwers as they existed, it was far more cost effective to just purchase new 47 Snow Blowers. So you may want to research that. If I remember correctly, the whole 47 Snow Blower package (Quick Hitch, driveshaft, etc) was $2800.00. That is $1000 more than the $1800 to do the conversion. Around here, that X585 Snow Blower package would fetch somewhere around $2000, depending on exactly what it is and what shape it is in.

You will not Need a new Up-stop which is what the whole kit actually is Because You will not need a new AM126981 PTO PowerGard Shield which is the same On any 47inch Blower Made since the X400 series Came out In 2002

All I needed was the Hose extensions Plus O-rings and two Hydraulic fittings, The Universal Driveshaft Part AM138128, and the Mid to Front PTO shaft, You can use the existing quick Hitch But You will need Hose extensions for that as well as the Other Two further sections For Mounting quick hitch to Tractor Back when I ordered the 1025R I just forgot to order the Hose extensions for the Blower.

But I did Buy a whole New quick Hitch anyways Because I am Planning On Having the 54inch Blade Mounted On the X748 while the Blower is Mounted On the 1025R since I am Buying a Seizmik Soft Cab Hardtop Cab with Vented Windshield for John Deere 1023E 1025R 1026R by Seizmik for the 1025R which I Just Pre-ordered this Morning :bigthumb:
