48 inch deck on x 370

Got a question. Buying a x370 with 42 inch deck but it looks like the 48 would mount the same. Would a 48 inch mount up to the x370? Dealer says no we would have to move up to the x380 or x390. But I think they don't want to be stuck with a 42 incher. What's your alls opinion?

Thanks for the replies guys. I didn't know anyone even answered. I figured the decks would interchange but dealer didn't want to be stuck with 42 inch deck.
We went with the 370 for the hydro lift and power steering and it was almost 1000.00 less then the 390. I can probably find a 48 inch deck used somewhere later.
