Looking at picking up a 4066R but there's an implement I'd like to run that requires a cat 2 hitch. Was looking at the 4M HDs and noticed they offer a cat1/2 hitch that's compatible with the telescoping draft links.

Anyone ever install the 4M HD arms (and presumably different top link) on a 4R to get a cat 1/2 hitch?

Just replace the cat2 pins with cat1 pins. That is what everybody else does. I have two cat2 implements that I have converted to cat1 iMatch.

What do you do for the top link? modify the implement and weld in a bushing or do you run a cat 2 top link?

Change the pin on the top link also. Easy to do.

FWIW I got this response from sales at my dealership:

As far as the 3pt arms I test fit one side of the 5052M HD arms on a 4066R and they do match up.
So I believe it would work.

Going to give it a try when it comes in and will update here.

Yes, the draft links work. Here is another thread about it...

Is it possible to install the draft link arms from 4066m...

I like how the 4066M HD has the CAT I/II arms does anyone know if it's possible to install them on a 4066R? I would think that there would be existing threads on this, but I can not find any.

Here is where I converted my hydraulic top link...

Just like @puckett_jw mentioned they hook right up and the telescoping feature on them makes hooking up so freaking easy a goof like me can do it single handedly
