Well, I thought I was doing good and ordered the "upgraded" rear wiper kit for my 2021 4044R CAB tractor, imagine my surprise when I open the box and realize that it doesn't incorporate a switch? At this point I realize that its likely this is a kit that "upgrades" your existing rear wiper (that I do not have) rather than being a complete bolt on kit?
The part number for the kit I have is BXX10345. It appears I am missing a water pump, hose, switch and possibly a harness?

Perhaps the video in the first post answers your questions?

Yeah, I had read up/watched videos on the kit. That's how I ended up at my dealer explaining to them the difference and had them order what I thought was a "stand alone kit". I guess I need to find out if I can just order the missing components? I.E. switch, maybe another harness, the hose for the washer and the other pump for the tank, or I have to buy the standard wiper kit, then adapt with the kit currently sitting under my desk?

I would hate to have to buy another $250+ kit, as that has the total cost of a rear wiper approaching $500+, and that's a bit much for me personally. I'd feel like I would need to buy an inverted blower, or at least a standard rear PTO blower to feel like I got my moneys worth...

I am not a super fan of how JD does their parts, further exacerbated by the lack of knowledge of what's available at just about every dealer I've been to. There is always the person that knows just about everything at the parts counter, I just can't seem to run into them these days...

So I was informed by the dealer that the wiper kit I have "doesn't match my serial number"...... I am trying not to be pessimistic, but I don't get the feeling this mess is going to be resolved easily, or cheaply. Going into this, the dealer was not even aware there was an "upgraded version" of the wiper, so what's to be expected? Maybe there is a kit that is "all inclusive" that includes the pump, hose, switch as well as the new upgraded wiper motor, arm and blade? I just have a sneaking suspicion that I am going to be shown the standard wiper kit. At that point, I guess ill just figure out the part numbers for the missing pieces myself and have those ordered, unless they are more than the total cost of the standard wiper kit. At that point ill have a $500 rear wiper I'm not likely to use outside of winter. Fingers crossed, but I'm not very optimistic.

Hello, new here and first post so hope I’m doing it right?!
How did you make out with the wiper kit? I have a 4052 cab coming in and want the rear wiper, I too was going to order theBXX10345
Kit hoping it was a “complete” kit but thankfully found your thread here first. Have you got a system installed yet?

The "upgrade" kit is likely a kit for another machine that just happens to work for the 3r/4r cabs. Its honestly stupid that they dont offer that upgrade kit with the parts to make it the default install for those machine. Since the majority of people are right handed it only makes sense.

My machine was delivered with the standard kit and when I ordered the "upgrade" my dealer comped it for me, likely because I had just purchased the machine 3 days prior.

It appears that the BXX10345 now substitutes to a new number, BXX10704. It is less money and has all components needed for install. Price is shown as $222.20. It looks like there are a couple of the older number in the warehouse, so be sure not to get one of those.

Has all the components for install if you already have a rear wiper, it does not have everything needed for a new install. From what I can see it doesn’t have the washer fluid pump and plumbing or switch for the wiper.
