5 foot JD Box Blade worth $400?

So I just saw this listed for sale about an hour from me... JD 5 foot box blade "only used a couple times" $400.

I don't know the model number and might never spring for a new one but I expect I could find an occasional use for it, driveway repair comes to mind. I have no idea the cost new but expect thats a good deal, even if it was an off brand.

What y'all think? I have a new 4 ft rototiller but else-wise I have only picked up a used single shank rooter (TSC brand) so far for my new 1025R. Should I hold out for a 4 foot or will my tractor handle it?

Thanks!

If that was for sale near me I would already have it in my truck, and I already own one. Pull that trigger fast son.

I paid 600 for the same one.
I would gladly pay $600 for a 5 footer, I've been looking for one for awhile and will probably have to buy new.
OK, already contacted the guy and spoke for it... he reiterated it only been used literally a couple times. Trying to arrange a meet time now.
Thanks guys!

Good luck!
Can a couple guys put that in a pickup bed or do I need to take my small tilt bed trailer?

Edit to add: Never mind he has a mini skid steer to load it with if needed.

Got a meet set up for in the morning.

If you got a tilt bed...Take it.

With a comealong or a couple dudes your good..No lifting..just slide or roll it.

Tilt trailer, maybe some pieces of pipe or round posts to roll it if needed.
$400 is a smoking deal- even the TSC box blades are like $900 now.

For a couple times that thing sure got a lot of rust. Must have been sitting in a swamp :D I can’t tell from the grainy photo but those scarifier tips look rounded. I’d venture to say it more like well used. Even so it’s a steal and I’d be on the way to grab it

I haven’t been to a TSC for awhile, not too long ago they were $900 which I thought was high priced for that. I just checked a couple of my local stores, some are $999 and some are $1099.
