If you are clearing lots I'd have a pusher instead of a plow.

I'd never plow a parking lot if I could afford to blow it out instead. Even more so a residential driveway.

Plows are nice when you have somewhere to shove the snow and you have enough machine to push large volumes of it. The malls, Home Depot, etc. here all use wheel loaders - Cat 926 and up. Some years we still have piled snow in May - it's remaining from hundreds of cubic yards of mounds pushed there.

Around here for the big lots they mostly use skid steers with 10’-12’ pushers - they can stack the snow pretty well with them.
