Hi all, I'm working on a 5093e that has quit moving and the PTO isn't working either. I was wondering if anyone could tell me an easy way to tell if the traction clutch is gone. I've tried testing for pressure at a few different points and haven't been able to get not a single PSI from the tranny... I'm leaning toward the traction clutch being gone because the PTO isn't working, which leads me to believe the trans input shaft isn't spinng...

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like you have a major failure of clutch, pressure plate or input shafts. There are 2 shafts going into front of transmission. A hollow shaft engages the pressure plate damper and drives the transmission. the solid inner shaft engages pto clutch disk and drives pto. Looks like tractor will need to be split at clutch housing to see what happened.
