I had to replace my plow skids today after only using the plow four times. My driveway is 2/10 mile long and gravel. Seems quick for them to wear out. Anyone else have this problem or advice?

My dealer has ordered heavy duty skids for me to look at, but at $53 apiece, looking is all that I may do.
