I installed my new 54" snowblower on my 1025r yesterday. Is it normal for the snowblower to wobble slightly side to side when you engage the PTO? And for that wobble to get a little worse as you increase throttle? It only seems to go away (or just subside) when I start moving.

Yes, it is normal. The shaft and auger are not perfectly balanced. It is only apparent when running the blower while in the raised position. Once lowered to the ground you will not notice it.

As jgayman said, very normal. The driveshaft makes some pretty odd angles when the blower is raised. Keep the mid PTO shaft u-joints and constant velocity joint greased regularly.

Thanks everyone! This is the first winter that I'm not dreading snow. Instead, I'm like, "Bring it!"
