I am looking to get the 54D deck for my 2320. Is this the same as a 7 Iron deck?

I am looking at the 62D, apparently the new ones now dont have the brackets for lifting with the 3PH.I have the 62D for my 2320. It makes quick work of my yard and went on and off a snap with the drive over option. I think the 7 Iron is a 72" cut.
VP,if that's the case you need to find one made in 2009 or earlier.I am looking at the 62D, apparently the new ones now dont have the brackets for lifting with the 3PH.VP
Apparently there was a trade off. The ones with the lifting brackets dont have rounded wheels or a grease fitting for the front swivel casters.VP,if that's the case you need to find one made in 2009 or earlier.

Not so VP. It's not the best pic (I'll have to take some better ones),but it shows the wheelsApparently there was a trade off. The ones with the lifting brackets dont have rounded wheels or a grease fitting for the front swivel casters.

Well I guess there was some overlap, because I saw a picture of one with flattened wheels and no grease fittings. You got lucky! Not so VP. It's not the best pic (I'll have to take some better ones),but it shows the wheels

If memory serves me correctly the original 62D deck has the flat wheels but there are grease fittings and the second gen deck has the rounded wheels front and back. There was a debate a number of years ago on another forum about issues with the original deck digging in or something. It has been so long ago I forgot. If you go to JD parts you will see the differences. Also according to Deere there has only ever been 1 62D mower deck body and it has always had the 3pt brackets.Well I guess there was some overlap, because I saw a picture of one with flattened wheels and no grease fittings. First off, I have been trying to sell the X320 locally. No one wants to pay 3K. Second, The deck he has there has hardly been used and has a mulch kit already installed. Third, It has the hard to find combination of lift brackets, round wheels and grease fittings. Fourth, I traded a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee for it that was hardly worth 2K. Fifth, they like me because I am a good customer. Sixth, Your condascending reply is quite unfortunate here, this forum seems to have some decent people who treat others with respect.Man,
I would seriously reconsider that deal. 62D decks run abt 2k to buy through Machinefinder and an X320 with that low hrs easy 3K. Pretty obvious why they like you sorry to say.
Not true on the 3pt brackets. The 62D that came with my 2720 in January does not have the 3 pt brackets. If memory serves me correctly the original 62D deck has the flat wheels but there are grease fittings and the second gen deck has the rounded wheels front and back.
