I’m just wanted to confirm the 60” mower deck from a 700 series is the same that would fit on a 1025r? This is the serial number from mower. 2018 mower deck going on a 2016 1025r. 1M060HCXCKM071801.
This is the serial number from 1025r

Decks are different from 1 series to X700 series they won’t fit each other.

You recommend the 60” MMM or think about a zero turn? Seems like some people move from MmM to zero turn after a while, while some swear by the MMM.

I had my Deere F680 zero turn sixteen years before I bought my Gen1 2025R. I purchased a MMM with the tractor thinking that my zero turn would not last forever. After mowing with the MMM on the tractor my conclusion was that the zero turn is the only way to go for cutting grass if you can afford both. The MMM on the tractor has been used only a few times in 6 years due to the fact of the extra time it takes to cut my 3 acres and the areas around the property it can not reach comfortably. At some point in your life you realize that your free time is the most valuable thing you can have.

I have even invested in putting a new engine in the zero turn so it lasts another 20 years. Still keeping the MMM for the few times the ZTrak goes in the shop.

Thanks for thoughts. Seems like tough to beat the zero turn unless lookimg for a a cutting experience l, which is fine too. 4K + Ca$’s for a MMM would buy a decent zero turn. I don’t have a ton of space for two machines but seems like better value may be a zero turn for 4 or 5k
